Terms & Conditions

The terms on which S4G Consultancy provides its services and on which you use this website.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by S4G Consultancy and its affiliates and group entities under S4G Group (collectively “S4G”, “we”, “our” or “us”) through https://s4gconsultancy.com and its sub-domains (the “Platform”).

S4G Group operates under several brands, including S4G Consultancy, S4G Digital and Alt Way In. Payments collected through this Platform are processed by the S4G Group merchant account, and the merchant name shown at checkout or on your card or bank statement may differ from the brand you engaged with.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Definitions

“User” or “You” means any person who accesses or uses the Platform.

“Content” means all information, data, text, software, graphics, video, messages or other material available through the Platform.

“Services” means all services, digital products and features offered by S4G, whether through the Platform or under a separate engagement agreement.

“Engagement” means a scoped piece of consulting or implementation work agreed in writing between you and S4G.

Eligibility

The Platform is available only to persons who can form legally binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and who are at least 18 years of age. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

We provide services to clients in India and internationally. Payments are charged and settled in Indian Rupees (INR) regardless of where you are located.

Services and engagements

S4G sells consulting services and digital products. We do not sell or ship physical goods through this Platform.

What is bought through this website

Smaller, clearly-scoped items may be paid for directly through the Platform using the payment link we issue you. These are digital or service deliverables and are delivered electronically or as scheduled consulting time.

What is not bought through this website

Retainers, ongoing advisory arrangements and larger implementation projects are not sold or paid for through this Platform. They are scoped individually, agreed under a separate written engagement agreement, and invoiced and billed directly.

Where the Platform describes those services, it is describing them only. Any button or link relating to them leads to an enquiry or contact form, never to a payment. The engagement agreement governs that work, and where it conflicts with these Terms, the engagement agreement prevails.

Nature of the work

Pricing

All prices are quoted and charged in Indian Rupees (INR).

Context Architecture Audit — INR xx

Digital products — from INR xx

Retainers and implementation projects — scoped individually, quoted in writing, billed directly

We do not publish a rate card for engagement work. Consulting is scoped to the problem, so the price depends on what the work actually is. You will always receive a written quote setting out the scope and the amount before any payment is requested, and you only ever pay against that quote. The payment link we issue states the exact amount being charged.

Orders and payment

When you pay against a quote or a payment link:

How payment is taken

Online payments are processed by PhonePe Payment Gateway on PhonePe's own hosted checkout page. Accepted methods, subject to what the gateway makes available at the time, include UPI, net banking and debit and credit cards.

We never see or store your card details. Card and account information is entered on the payment provider's page and handled entirely by them. S4G stores only a record of the order: an internal reference, the amount, the description and the status the gateway reports back.

Payments made from outside India are charged in INR. Your bank or card issuer performs the currency conversion and may apply its own conversion rate and foreign transaction fees, over which we have no control and for which we are not responsible.

Cancellation and refunds

S4G supplies digital products and services. There is no return of a digital product, and cancellation and refund rights are set out in full in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

The site assistant and generated output

This Platform includes an AI assistant and a tool that generates draft documents. Both are demonstrations of the method S4G teaches, and both are provided for information.

Your conversations with the assistant are recorded. How and why is set out in the Privacy Policy. Please do not enter confidential information, personal data about other people, credentials or payment details into the chat.

Intellectual property

Our content

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, method and design, is owned by S4G Group or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or reuse it commercially without our written permission.

Engagement deliverables

Ownership of material produced during an engagement is set out in the relevant engagement agreement. In the absence of an agreement to the contrary, you receive a licence to use the deliverables within your own organisation, and S4G retains ownership of the underlying methods, frameworks and tooling it brought to the work.

Content you provide

You retain ownership of material you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to the extent necessary to provide the Services, and you confirm that submitting it does not breach anyone else's rights.

Disclaimers

Service availability

We aim to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. It may be unavailable for maintenance, updates or technical reasons.

Accuracy

While we endeavour to provide accurate information, we make no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of any content on the Platform.

Third-party services

The Platform integrates with third-party services, including the payment gateway, hosting providers and AI model providers. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless S4G Group, its brands, affiliates, officers, employees and agents from any claim, damage, loss or expense arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any third-party right, or any content you submit.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. On termination your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect. Termination of Platform access does not by itself terminate a written engagement agreement, which has its own termination terms.

Dispute resolution

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Alternative dispute resolution

Before commencing legal action, the parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.
